To the choir director: 1Do not destroy. A aPsalm of Asaph; a Song
Psa. 75 :1 75:1 1We give thanks to You, O God; we give thanks,
For Your name is near; men tell of Your wondrous deeds.
Psa. 75 :2 75:2 When I choose the appointed 1time,
It is I who ajudge with equity.
Psa. 75 :3 75:3 The earth and all who dwell in it melt;
I have established its pillars. Selah
Psa. 75 :4 75:4 I said to the boastful, Do not boast;
And to the wicked, Do not lift up the horn.
Psa. 75 :5 75:5 Do not lift your horn on high;
Do not speak arrogantly with a haughty neck.
Psa. 75 :6 75:6 For neither from the east nor from the west,
And neither from the 1south, does exaltation come;
Psa. 75 :7 75:7 For God is the Judge:
He puts this one down and aexalts that one.
Psa. 75 :8 75:8 For there is a acup in the hand of Jehovah,
And the wine foams; it is full of mixture,
And He pours from it; indeed its dregs will all the wicked of the earth
Drain off and drink up.
Psa. 75 :9 75:9 But as for me, I will declare forever,
I will sing psalms to the God of Jacob.
Psa. 75 :10 75:10 And all the horns of the wicked will I cut off,
But the horns of the righteous man will be exalted.
