Psa. 6 :1 6:1 aO Jehovah, do not rebuke me in Your anger,
Nor 1chasten me in Your burning wrath.
Psa. 6 :2 6:2 Be gracious to me, O Jehovah, for I am languishing;
Heal me, O Jehovah, for my bones are shaken,
Psa. 6 :3 6:3 And my soul is greatly shaken.
But as for You, O Jehovah, how long?
Psa. 6 :4 6:4 Return, O Jehovah; deliver my soul;
Save me for Your lovingkindness’ sake.
Psa. 6 :5 6:5 For in adeath there is no remembrance of You;
In 1Sheol who can give thanks to You?
Psa. 6 :6 6:6 I am weary with my groaning;
Every night I cause my bed to swim;
With my tears I dissolve my couch.
Psa. 6 :7 6:7 My eye is wasted because of grief;
It has aged because of all those who vex me.
Psa. 6 :8 6:8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity,
For Jehovah has heard the sound of my weeping.
Psa. 6 :9 6:9 Jehovah has heard my supplication;
Jehovah receives my prayer.
Psa. 6 :10 6:10 All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed;
They will turn back; they will be put to shame suddenly.
