Psa. 29 :1 29:1 ^1aAscribe to Jehovah, O sons of the Mighty,
Ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength;

Psa. 29 :2 29:2 Ascribe to Jehovah the glory of His name;
Worship Jehovah in holy ¹splendor.

Psa. 29 :3 29:3 The voice of Jehovah is over the waters;
The God of ^aglory ^bthunders,
Jehovah over the great waters.

Psa. 29 :4 29:4 The voice of Jehovah is powerful;
The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.

Psa. 29 :5 29:5 The voice of Jehovah breaks the cedars;
Indeed Jehovah breaks the cedars of Lebanon in pieces;

Psa. 29 :6 29:6 And He makes Lebanon ^askip like a calf,
And ¹Sirion like a young wild ox.

Psa. 29 :7 29:7 The voice of Jehovah cleaves out flames of fire.

Psa. 29 :8 29:8 The voice of Jehovah shakes the wilderness;
Jehovah shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

Psa. 29 :9 29:9 The voice of Jehovah ¹causes the hinds to calve
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple all say, Glory!

Psa. 29 :10 29:10 Jehovah sat enthroned at the Flood,
And Jehovah sits as ^aKing forever.

Psa. 29 :11 29:11 May Jehovah give strength to His people.
May Jehovah bless His people with peace.
