Then Jehovah said to me, Go
1again, love a woman who is loved by her companion yet who is an adulteress, even as Jehovah has
aloved the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.

So I bought her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver and a homer of barley and a half-homer of barley.

1many days; you shall not go about as a harlot nor be
another man’s; and I will be the same toward you.

For the children of Israel will
aabide for many days without king and without prince and without sacrifice and without pillar and without ephod and teraphim.

Afterward the children of Israel will return and
aseek Jehovah their God and
1bDavid their King, and they will come with fear to Jehovah and to His goodness in the
