You overthrew those who rose up against You.

aTerror and dread have fallen upon them;
By the greatness of Your arm they have become as still as

Until Your people passed over, O Jehovah,

The place, O Jehovah, which You have made for Your dwelling,

For the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and with his horsemen went into the

Then Moses moved Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur. And they went
1three days in the wilderness and found
2no water.

And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore its name was called

amurmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

And he cried out to Jehovah, and Jehovah showed him a
1tree; and he cast it into the waters, and the
awaters became sweet. There He made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He

And He said, If you will listen carefully to the voice of Jehovah your God and do what is right in His eyes and give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the
adiseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am
1Jehovah who
bheals you.

2twelve springs of water and
2seventy palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.
