The first step of God’s salvation in life — regeneration _ch.1

Outline
God’s original desire and purpose — to be life to man with the tree of life as a symbol
God’s full salvation consisting of two great elements — redemption and salvation
God’s redemption, with the precious blood of Christ as the focus, meeting the need in the judicial aspect
God’s salvation, with the life of Christ (the life of God) as the focus, meeting the need for authority (power)
God’s redemption dealing with man’s fall; God’s salvation carrying out God’s intention, which is to give Himself as the Spirit to be life to man
The redemption through Christ’s precious blood laying the foundation and paving the way for the salvation in God’s life
The four major steps of God’s salvation in life — regeneration, transformation, conformation, and glorification
The definition of regeneration — to be begotten of God and to have God’s eternal life in addition to man’s natural life
God’s ordination
That man, who was chosen and created by God, should be regenerated in addition to being created
That man, who was fallen and dead in sins, should be redeemed and regenerated
The accomplishment of regeneration — through Christ’s resurrection and at the time of Christ’s resurrection
The experience of regeneration — everyone who believes into Christ experiencing the regeneration accomplished through Christ’s resurrection
The way to experience regeneration
To be born of water — to be convicted concerning sin and to repent and confess our sins
To be born of the Spirit — to call on and receive Christ and to believe into Christ
The issue of regeneration
Becoming children of God with the divine life and the divine nature
Being members of the household of God, those who are of the household of the faith
Being indwelt by the Triune God — the Father, the Son, and the Spirit
Becoming the brothers of Christ and being begotten of God the Father with Christ to become the many sons of God
Being the members of Christ to be the increase of Christ
Constituting the Body of Christ as the fullness, the expression, of Christ
Becoming the new creation
Becoming a part of the new man
Entering into the kingdom of God and becoming citizens of God
Being citizens in the heavens
Being God’s elect, the real Israel

The second step of God’s salvation in life — transformation _ch.2

Outline
The definition of transformation
Not merely a perceptible change outwardly in behavior
Being a metabolic transformation inwardly in essence
The steps of transformation
Washing — the washing of regeneration
Sanctification — the sanctification of the Holy Spirit
Renewing — the renewing of the Holy Spirit
Beginning from our mind
Through our spirit, which is mingled with the Spirit, reaching all the inward parts of our being
A metabolic process — transformation
Not accomplished in an instant
Achieved throughout our entire life
The way of transformation
By fellowshipping with the Lord without any barrier — with unveiled face beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glorious image of the Lord
The advancing — from one degree of glory to another degree of glory
Being transformed into the same image of the Lord, even as from the Lord Spirit
By remaining in our spirit and exercising our spirit
The issue of transformation
Growth and maturity in the divine life
Arriving at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
The purpose of transformation
The ultimate transformation

The third step of God’s salvation in life — conformation _ch.3

Outline
The definition of conformation — conformation being the effect of transformation in life, with the firstborn Son of God, the God-man who joins God to man, as the mold
The purpose of God’s salvation in life
To conform the believers to the image of the firstborn Son of God
To be conformed to the image of the firstborn Son of God being to be conformed to the image of the God-man, who is the union of the processed Triune God with the transformed tripartite man
To live a life of denying our natural life under the crucifixion of Christ by being conformed to His death
To live out the reality of the spiritual life of God by the power of Christ’s resurrection
To take the life-giving Spirit, the pneumatic Christ, as our life and person
To be led into glorification in the divine glory by arriving at maturity of life through transformation in life
The consummation of God’s salvation in life
The believers being absolutely like God in God’s righteousness and holiness in the consummation of their maturity in life
The New Jerusalem, in which the believers consummate, and God, who sits on the throne in eternity, appearing in the divine glory in full resemblance to one another, both being like jasper
