
Scripture: Rom. 5:12
I. Man is born, raised, grown, and immersed in sin.
II. Give examples to prove the sinfulness of man’s behavior.

I. Death comes from sin and, hence, is joined to sin:
The more sin a man commits the faster he dies.
II. There are four steps in death:
А. The spirit is dead, lacking any sense of morality and without knowledge of God.
B. The body will die.
C. The soul will be cast into Hades.
D. At the end of the world the body, soul, and spirit will be reunited to be thrown into the lake of fire.
III. Man lives in death today:
He is not living daily but is dying daily.
Scripture: Heb. 9:27; Rev. 20:11-13
I. There is a coming judgment:
All the iniquity and unrighteousness that a man commits in his lifetime cannot be erased merely by death. There will be a judgment.
II. In His word God said that man will suffer His judgment.
III. The future judgment is after a man’s death:
The death of a man is not his end but the beginning of a second stage.
IV. The future judgment will be according to man’s deeds today.
V. The future judgment is altogether just and righteous:
It will be the judgment before the great white throne.
VI. Unless a man believes in the Lord Jesus today, in that judgment he will stand condemned.
Scripture: Rev. 20:15; 21:8
I. Hell as God’s jail:
А. When someone commits a crime, he is judged and then put into jail.
B. The universe is governed by God.
C. When man transgresses the law of God, he must be put into God’s jail.
D. This universal jail is called hell.
II. Hell being the lake of fire:
А. In the future, after God has judged man, He will send all the sinners to the lake of fire.
B. The lake of fire is what we commonly know as hell.
C. Describe the pains and the torment in hell.
