  The two hundred sixty-six gospel subjects have been classified into thirty-one categories as an aid to those who preach the gospel. Some of the gospel subjects cover two or three aspects, so they are listed under two or three categories. Some subjects refer primarily to a category; others treat it in a secondary manner. A subject that refers primarily to a category is not in parentheses; a subject that treats it secondarily is.
